From our trip to Alaska last month..... I had just told Skip I wanted to pull off the road along a stream to find an eagle with a pretty setting. As Skip rolled his eyes at me, I veered off the road & less than 1 minute later I found this guy sitting on a log above a small stream. It was raining but the bird let me walk up to the river bank across from him and I took about 15 shots. I love it when nature complies....;)

I wasn't always lucky but most days I had a mission for certain animals & got something. :) Alaska is pretty easy for wildlife if you ask the locals where to look :)
