Aug 09, 2014 13:23 | #1 Pitt Lake is one of the world's largest tidal lakes - the second largest lake in BC (about 16 miles long and 2 miles wide) ... here is a shot looking back from our boat at the narrow channel one has to negotiate to get to the lake. It is prone to heavy winds as well as big waves (due to its great depth) - but still a beautiful lake to swim in.  cheers Phil Life is not about waiting for the storms to pass...
