Piping Plovers from Pine Point Beach in Maine, just happened to catch them as we were tide walking, I wish I had the back bird in focus as well but I was shooting freehand with my non IS 70-300 (I now have the 70-200 f4l IS).

Nice shots, I like the second one best. Those little guys cause quite a ruckus down at OBX but it gets so crowded there it kinda has to be.
