I usually have trouble capturing the majesty of what I'm seeing, but I figured what the heck.

C&C always appreciated! I'm not a landscape guy...shooting stuff like this seems tough to swing though a lot of guys make it look easy!

Lizard Head Pass, perhaps a tad too heavy handed on the PS

From being on Lizard Head Pass a few times, I think you did a great job capturing it.

Great shots at Lost Lake (and surrounding area)! The Anthracite Range is a personal favorite for me. :)

thanks guys!!
Koala, I grew up in that area...I'm with you! It's a wonderful place.
My only regret is not doing an Astro session up there next time, but hopefully next time!
Have you hiked the gorge above Lost Lake?

Absolutely! I have hiked high-up into the two main bowls of East Beckwith Mountain due South of Lost Lake.

There is a little pond near the northern base of West Beckwith Mountain that I want to hike to at some point; we'll see when I can get that done. Hopefully I'll get out there during fall colors sometime. :)

Hiked up to Green Lake (above Lake Irwin) a couple years back. Of course, I wasn't smart enough to hike the trail; instead I climbed up the damn scree-slope (with my full camera pack @ ~65lbs), only to realize I could have hiked up there with a fair bit less effort! LOL

Oh well, got a great workout in that day. :P
