Wow! There's a hot rumor that "lens" contains only one "e" and that "aperture" contains only one "a." Whoda thunk it?

(Pet Peeve, photo forum department) :p

2 out of 3 is a pretty good score.
It just remains for you to find out how many U's there are in the 'R' word.

Now, I'm not picking on you scepter'd isle types for inefficient spelling, no matter how you may "colour" it! ;)

This royal throne of kings, this scepter'd isle,
This earth of majesty, this seat of Mars,
This other Eden, demi-paradise,
This fortress built by Nature for herself
Against infection and the hand of war,
This happy breed of men, this little world,
This precious stone set in the silver sea,
Which serves it in the office of a wall,
Or as a moat defensive to a house,
Against the envy of less happier lands,
This blessed plot, this earth, this realm, this England

(Richard II, Act 2 )

Any pics of the place? I was born at the mouth of the Thames, South-end on mud.

Tide was out when you were born then? ;) :D:D:D:D

I remember the place well - I was born there too.

Depends on whether you speak English or just a close variant of English.
