Great shot! I might be visiting this aquarium next week. Are the exhibits generally bright enough to use an f4 lens? I'm trying to figure out which gear to pack for vacation.

I've done little shooting through glass... do you use a CPL?

Better a faster lens, but yes, you can ... at very high ISO, with your 6D it should not be big a problem

CPL you loose some light and you can still get some reflection, a lens skirt (external link) IMO is really efficient against reflection in those conditions, and you can also DIY ;)

Thanks! The generic rubber lens hoods are $7 on amazon, so maybe I'll have one shipped to my destination to use next week. Now, just have to decide on which lens to pack.

Now that is an excellent shot through glass. You would almost think you were diving right next to it.
