These captured with the 7D? ( If so I really need to consider one of these) The details are so clear, well done.

So pretty Jeff. Love the exif data! Even when my birds are in the sunlight, the dark background forces me to use higher ISO's...but you pull it off...beautifully!

Very nice Jeff, love the crest on that goldfinch! I think we're all feeling the effects of the loss of bats. The mosquito population here is out of control!

Thanks Everyone, I have not been able to get out and do the real wild life so I'm shooting the ones I look after daily.

Thanks Ian, ya out of control is right, There not leaving until it gets good and cold either, All though I did see a bat just two nights ago in the harvest moon, first for me this year and normally I would see them daily in the past, sure missing our little brown bats thats for sure!!

lol Al if you new me you would know I'm probably headed there anyway lol I had so much fun last year out with the Foxes, Bears, Moose, Wolves, and Martin's all the birds, I can't wait to see what comes of this year and the strange weather we had all summer. I was hoping to have a longer lens this winter, ..don't know how I'm going to get the full frame shots of the wolves this winter, guess I'll need a bite suit. but thats my goal.

Hey Derek, You can't go wrong with the 7D its a great camera, ya its old, ya I hated it in the beginning. But it made me a better photographer. its heavy, its fast, it will focus with a good lens most of the time where your looking. I just hate noise and the 7D has instilled in me that very good exposure is where the magic happens. I shoot in raw and process in lightroom ....I think its 5.6 now. A good tuneable camera and a good lens the rest is up to you.
