All right, for a month I've been pretty messed up because I've had to prepare for some surgery, and have been going through some pretty messy stuff...including a couple hospital visits...Ok, fine, I got home yesterday...

OK, fine, but then I saw that someone who I have considered gosh, not just a friend but a brother and even more, has died, suffering from bi-polar disorder, he took his own life, Robin Williams...I'm heart-broken...

Robin had an impact on us all. Since you considered him a brother, I'm assuming you knew him personally? I'm sorry for your loss. He was greatly respected, and will be greatly missed.

No, I didn't personally know him, I felt "as if" he was my brother...

Kind of like when the young actor River Phoenix dropped dead of a drug overdose on Hollywood Boulevard on the early morning of Halloween, October 31, 1993, the morning my son died in a car accident...some things just connect...

Tony, I'm very sorry to hear about your recent health issues and your struggles with the death of Robin Williams. He was a man loved and admired by many, and I think all of us felt like we knew him at least a little bit-which is why his death stunned us all. As far as the loss of your son, I can't even imagine how painful his death must have been for you-and I have no doubt that time doesn't lessen the pain of such loss. I wish I could offer you words of comfort, but in the absence of that, I can only hope that you are surrounded by loved ones that can offer you strength and comfort. I hope your surgery went well and that you're doing better now than you were a month ago.

Hey thanks, but I haven't had the surgery yet, I'm just going through some bizarre things getting ready for it!!!!

Any way, thanks for the nice thoughts!
