Does anyone have personal hands on experience with both the International and Security 2.0? They look very similar aside from the International being slightly smaller. I'm looking for a large carry-on roller bag and while I prefer the size of the Security, I've also seen feedback that it's too large for the overhead bins on some planes.

So I'm wondering if someone that's used them both can comment on any significant differences or preferences you have between them. I also want to be able to carry a small laptop + tablet + Wacom in it (I want to be able to carry photo equipment with me on business trips so I need to combine my work laptop and gear into this bag as well). It looks like the Security has a pocket that can hold an Artificial Intelligence bag which would actually be a nice way for me to transport my work gear. Not sure if the International has a similar pocket.

Anyway, any feedback on these bags in appreciated.

I'm not sure how much smaller one is, but in my limited travel i found that the smaller regional jets had overheads so small that a bag almost half the size would probably not even fit. Every larger plane I have taken fit the max size bag.

Thanks for the reply. I do realize that these roller bags wont fit in the overheads of regional jets and will need to be checked at the gate, so that's a known going in. I've seen feedback that the Security doesn't fit long-ways into 757's, A319's, and potentially others, and needs to go in sideways.

With the International fully packed last year, arguing with the chief attendant of the Lufthansa flight to South Africa:

Zis bag is too heafy. Ja. If ze disaster strikes, zis bag, it becoom a flying hazard und might decapitate a pazzenger.

My response: If we have a disaster in the air, a flying bag will be the least of our worries.

Love it! The International is the one I chose because it does fit most of the time in an overhead bin, but in the smaller plane, I doubt they'll let you take it on the plane. Always check the size before getting the tickets.

I went with the security because I like fitting both the 70-200 ISII (hood reversed) and 100L (with hood in shooting) upright in the bag.

I can also fit all the makings of a westcott rapid box 26" Octabox which is nice to have
