I'd like to talk to someone about Biz Card Ideas Logo etc.
I want a separate card for shooting music and concerts and racking my brain coming up with logo concept

here are a couple ideas I've contemplated, I'd like to somehow connect a camera and something music related to connect the two but is still seems disjointed. I'm not happy with either, and the lettering is still tough to read

would love your ideas on how to convey a little better and if you guys can recommend someone reasonable to help me get it done

I don't really understand the different font sizes!?! I like the logo itself, as I knew, before reading your post, exactly what you were offering. It's just the typography that bothers me. ;)

Very busy, too many fonts and sizes, not crazy about the variety of colors and gradients. Not a fan of the camera design. Guitar is good, but too busy at small sizes?

Agreed, too busy. Your name should be one font/colour as should the word photography. Changing font/case half way through a word makes it more difficult to read.

I agree with all of you,I can easily fix fonts but it's the logo that is making me nutz. I had lots of people say that it doesn't convey music photographer any other ideas

I don't agree. It reads perfectly fine at screen res. if it's going any smaller then I would simplify the cursive a bit though.

I'm not sold on the color choice. That combined with the fonts make it look very 80's.

Also the camera and guitar clutter it up too much.
Try combining the sound hole in the guitar and lens on the camera in some interesting way. As it is now it looks like four different elements.

Just thinking. I personally HATE seeing a camera, shutter blades etc as a or part of, a logo. Get rid of it, IMO. Your business name includes 'Photography', so that' a given. People aren't going to confuse you with a plumber.

If all you do is music (concerts, events), why not use either your guitar, or maybe a a few notes?

As a business card, it will be about 1/6 or 1/8 of what I'm seeing at Screen Resolution. Very tiny letters. I'm not sure I like so much Black, as it absorbs so much attention.

I like the top one best.. but cant tell what it would look like actual size. Probably too small.
I also like the combo of a camera and guitar.

TOP:
I think your fonts can be better than the ones chosen, don't like the capital JR, I'm not fond of the gradients & I think you can simplify your guitar a bit more (handle, & swoosh areas)

BOTTOM:
Again, I don't like the fonts, too many fonts; different sizes

I actually like the color scheme, but would have to see it printed out to really judge effectiveness. The font and logo need to be larger to be easily read. I might consider "concert photography" wording or something like that. Just a "catch all" phrase to talk about your services.

The colors are OK if you like them, but too many fonts. Prefer the second version to the first.
