The last images of Ruby-throated Hummingbirds I shared with you included a juvenile male who has pretty much decided that my back deck is the happening place to be. While I still see him getting chased occasionally, he's the predominant bird in the images I've captured over the last month or so. I can't help but cheer for the underdog!

I've seen as many as 3 juvi/females sparring over the feeding rights on my deck. I certainly think he lives up to his name and hopefully will continue being happy enough here to remember the location upon his return next year. Thanks for having a look and leaving behind your thoughts and comments.
