Great pics everyone. One more question. I was debating between this and the einstein E640. I would prefer this light due to the HSS functionality and the built in battery, but can this Rovelight allow me to shoot at half the power like an E640 would. I guess I'm just worried about it being too powerful if I wanted to use it indoors in a smaller space. Winter is coming up north and I like to take shots of the little ones and would like to be able to use this at times, but I know that an alienbees 1600 (Which I believe is roughly the same power as the Rovelight) just puts out too much light even down at it's lowest settings whereas the E640 you could switch it to half the power and use it at a lower setting and not have to worry about bad color at the lower settings like the Alienbees can give you. Is this functionality available in this strobe?

Where can I learn more about this Bowens S-type mount and what modifiers it fit? I want to grab two of these, but from reading it doesn't work with certain type of modifiers?

Similar to the above question. I want to get these as my first strobes but unsure of which mount to get. Is it worth it for $60 to get the Bowen mount? I am starting from scratch so I have no reason to get one or the other.

The Bowens mount is one of the most popular types of mount available. IMO you can't go wrong with the Bowens mount option for these.

If you can swing the extra $60 go with the Bowens.

I used my existing elinchrom rotalux 39 with bowen speedring.

For everyone who's curious which mount to get, get the bowen. Don't worry about the extra cost. You're paying a very cheap lights already. Bowen is basically a mount type and it seems to be the open and universal as many speedrings are available for it including broncolor, elinchrom, mola and profoto. With flashpoint mount, you're stuck with flashpoint (adorama) and glow.

Here are the available speedrings for bowen:

Both Rovelight and Einstein have very low power settings down to 1/128 power - compared to AB1600 which is down to only 1/32 power.

Tried to purchase this today with flash havoc coupon cide. Is there any way to pay via PayPal option on Adorama and put the coupon in. I never actually saw a box to put the code through the whole process.

You wont see it until the final check out page after you've been redirected back to Adorama from the PayPal site. There is a link about half way down the page that says something along the lines of "Gift card or Promo code?". The box to put the promo code in will open with that link.

Keep in mind that they wont be shipping anything until October 20th since they are closed for the Sukkoth Holiday.
