I just purchased the Rovelight, but what do I need to trigger it in HSS? I use the pocket wizard Plus III which acts as both a receiver and transmitter, but they aren't HSS compatible. So I am looking to buy the Yongnuo 622C Do I need the YN-622-C-TX for my camera, and a YN-622C transceiver for my strobe, or is it just like the pocket wizards where I just need to buy the 2 pack of YN-622C Transceivers and both of them will work on both camera and strobe? Lastly do these triggers come with the cable to hook up to the strobe? A pair of those transceivers will do hss without the 622 TX controller. Every pair of triggers that I have bought does come with a cable, but it was for connecting to the camera to use as a remote shutter release. Jeff

Put the v2 RL600B transmitter in the hot shoe of the X1 transmitter then use CFn 00 (flash sync timing) to optimize the flash exposure form the RL600B in HSS. No cables, no receivers and you can gain about 1 more stop of flash exposure from using flash sync timing in HSS. Works like a charm. Rand

Like the Rovelight. hmmm... is this the same feature as what the YN622TX have ? The YN622/YN622TX combo can give me HSS with my Profoto AcuteB 600R. With a little tweaking using the YN622TX, adjusting the timing when HSS is ON. It doesn't give me a clean image but it's very tweakable in PP. I wonder if this X1 system can work with other strobes like the Profoto, obviosuly the Rove, Canon speedlights, and YN600rt. http://philfernandezphotography.com
