Sorry I didn't see your post yesterday. I think I managed to get my order in just before the cut off.

This is killin me. I'd love to order a couple, especially at that price. But, heading into the slow season, I can't justify the expense. :(

I hear you. I want one of these or a Godox AD360 but I figure I'd like to get a 135L first.

Damn last day of the sale and I caved. I bought a Bowen's mount one even though I have 3 other
Flashpoint strobes with the proprietary mount. My reasoning was I wanted access to the less expensive generic mount modifiers available out there for Bowens.

IMO the triggers are definitely the weak link with the product. If you can't see the LCD panel on the back of the light, it's a bit hit and miss changing power remotely.

I just ordered an extra trigger via photo gadget ($20 vs $70 on Adorama). This will let me have a dedicated trigger to adjust power for each light and one trigger set to channel 15 to fire them.

Hello everyone,

I also ordered a couple of these, fun lights! I've been using my 622C's with a sync cord on flash, but I want to order an extra trigger to work with them so I can use the included triggers to set power and one on camera to fire them. I looked on Amazon and Photo Gadget but couldn't find them, is it a different brand of trigger that you used?

Thanks. :)

Some good new for you. The deal has been extended a little bit until October 21.

That is seriously the last chance to get them at these prices!

Wow. I guess I didn't need to rush but I'm glad I did.

Sorry in advance if these are silly questions. I'm very new to studio lighting and using strobes.

I used this strobe for the first time over the weekend with just a simple one light setup in a 47" octobox. I was very happy with the photographic results but ran into some issue with the trigger system.

The first problem was when I switched the trigger from one camera to another. Perhaps it was user error, but I could not get the strobe to fire from my
5D III after letting a friend use it on her T3i. It worked fine earlier in the day when I set everything up using my 7D and then giving her the trigger. I did not shut the strobe off in between switching either time so maybe something there, idk?

Second, we had about a 10 min timeframe with a lot of misfires. I can think of anything that would have been interfering with the signal at the time.

So, since I have some 622c triggers, would that be the better way to go? Can I use one for the strobe and one on each of my cameras so that I don't have to switch triggers during the shoot? Will triggering from one camera cause any voltage to go through the other camera? In other words is it safe?

Also, If I decide to use the 622c, can I still use the included trigger to adjust the strobe power but not use it on camera to trigger? Can I leave the wireless on and use the sync at the same time?

Thanks in advance
