^^very beautiful , she is so cute
Thanks. Trying to take advantage of the fact that she's not 100% crawling yet. Once that starts, planned pcitures become a bit more difficult...lol

KHAWACHEN Goldmember More info Post edited over 8 years ago by KHAWACHEN. (2 edits in all) | Something obvious but verify that you have HSS enabled on all (YN trigger, receiver and RL if i recall correctly). Im using YN-622c-TX on camera and YN-622c connected to RL via 3.5mm PC sync cord.

I dont think the triggers themselves have an HSS option, I know HSS was enabled on the rovelight for sure. Canon EOS 5Dmk3 //

keano12 Member 126 posts Likes: 12 Joined Jan 2015 More info | This shot is amazing. So when you shoot in HSS do you try to keep the ISO low at 100? If you raise the ISO then you are only undoing the shutter speed right?

keano12 Member 126 posts Likes: 12 Joined Jan 2015 More info | That was my next question actually. I know if its dark you can freeze action without HSS. But if outside you would need HSS to and small aperture to darken the shot to cut the ambient light to to freeze action the best you could. But would you turn up the ISO in this case?

This obviously brings up the ambient too, but there are times when the ambient light shot at 1/250 at wider apertures will still introduce motion blur even at ISO 100. May 29, 2015 23:36 | #540 Picked up an RL-600B. In an initial quick and dirty testing I am rather impressed with flash output and the smoothness of the transition between flash power settings. Tested the RL-600B at 1/1 flash power with the Phottix Odin ODS in non HSS and then again in HSS with and without ODS timing dialed in. Picked up about one stop flash exposure value with ODS timing dialed in while in HSS. Both in HSS and non HSS, 1/1 flash exposures were the same with the ODS dialed in. In non HSS, with ODS dialed in, I got top and bottom banding at 1/3 stop less than 1/1 power and by 1/2 power the banding left just a small slit. In HSS all flash settings picked up about 1 stop flash exposure with the ODS timing adjusted. In my quick and dirty testing I found the RL-600B had about a 2 stop flash output advantage over the CL-360 and INdra 500. More testing is warranted to verify these initial findings but so far I am pleasantly surprised. Rand
