In HSS mode at say 1/2 power how many continuous shots can I get on average, Has anyone tried this? What kind of recycle times are you getting between a burst of say 5 to 10 shots? Does the light keep up at all with continuous frames in HSS?

I'm so upset that I didn't see this post two days ago!!!! I've been looking into getting some strobes for on-location use and was mainly pointing towards some used Alien Bees. These are PERFECT for what I'm looking for. I'm so upset that I missed the coupon code!!!

Any chance it would be extended or come back at some point???

Contact Helen Oster on this board. She represents Adorama and hope she can accommodate.

Good news on my end... Adorama shipped me a new transmitter and it works great! Now I'm just waiting for the piece from flashzebra so that I can make HSS work without attaching anything to the strobe.

Great to hear. Now that's that piece of gizmo from flashzebra?

Check out Elvis's great review: http://flashhavoc.com …-rovelight-rl-600-review/ (external link)

If you shoot Canon and have yn-622's you need a piece that allows you to hook up the transmitter to the yn-622 via a pc cord.

Well, this is cool... I took this photo in full sunlight, 1600th sec, f/2.8, ISO 100, then brought into LR and reduced the exposure by half a stop.
The strobe was at 1/4 plus 1/3 power :

In hss you will get 1 if your lucky 2 shots on the lowest power setting 1/16. I dont think this was desighed for speed shooting. in normal sync at 1/8th power i can shoot 6fps.

You can call adorama and still get the deal, however you are only able to order the "flashpoint" mount and not the bowens mount.

phone: 888-216-7500
option 1, option 5

Ask if the product sku: FPLFRL600 is still available for the $399 deal. Chances are you will be able to order.

I haven't pulled the trigger as the 5.7lb weight isn't as attractive as the lighter godox 360s.... however i haven't pulled the trigger on the godox because of the quality control issues with their batteries.

Just thought others might want to know.

have you pop tested your batteries to see if you get close to the 450 full power shots?
