Shot at sunrise, ( long exposure of 30 seconds)of the cliffs over the beach at Port-en-Bessin. On D-Day 6th of June 1944, a group about 300 Royal Marine Commandos (47) attacked the small port of Bessin which lays between Omaha Beach to the West and Gold Beach to the East. By the 7th the battle was all but over with the loss of 46 Commandos killed and 70 wounded. C+C Always welcome.
