This last week I took some vacation and travelled with my family back to my home province of Nova Scotia. In the Annapolis Valley, there is the starting of some top notch vineyards. We visited Luckett's Vineyard, did some tasting and had a great meal.

Pete Luckett is the founder of the vineyard, and has done some other interesting work in the area promoting buy local; Pete's Frootique grocery chain, for one example.

An interesting quirk about the vineyard is the phone box in the middle of all the grape vines. It is a fully functional phone booth, and together with the local phone provider offers free phone calls to anywhere in North America. After all, great wine leads to great stories, and stories need to be shared.

Thanks for looking!

The red and the green is a great contrast
increasing the contrast between phone booth and farm.

Nice set. I agree with tmcman. The phone booth creates an interesting contrast to the green background. It's so unexpected view that made a smile on my face.

Thank you! It is a really interesting spot to visit. There is a great lunch menu to enjoy while taking in the view. The lunch terrace is right beside the phone box, so the red stands out immediately.
