She's been developing looks for his fashion blog. I'd welcome any thoughts.. particularly composition/posing.

I like them. I even like all of the negative space in #1 :)

Thanks! I kind of realize that I'm not so strong with posing, etc. I was sticking to the basic compositions that day. (possibly the model was also not so experienced)

Backlight which shows the silhouette on her legs is distracting.

I like the backlight showing off her legs.

I like the top one. The second, the shadows of her legs make her leg look broken. The overall style and look of them is nice.

Thanks eye2i... the backlighting there was totally on purpose. I can see how it might be seen as broken though!

(also, maybe the sun poking thru is too bright.. maybe just some ambient light would have been better)

No way! The leg pose works perfectly. It shows a little sass that is needed in a leg silhouette.

If it was all ambient/natural lighting it would look good but with a flash/strobe that illuminates her front and a backlight that shows her legs, it doesn't work IMO. It's like looking at 2 split images.

If the images are for the stylist or designer, then it's best to highlight the clothing/wardrobe.

My 02 cents.
