5D mk3 Jpeg colors in Portrait STYLE (A bit bland)

Shooting in "portrait mode" with a 5D3??? There is no portrait mode on mine or are you referring to the "Picture Style"?
I shoot RAW only and post process in ACR - I have the camera set to "Neutral" and correct colours and - when doing people - skin tones manually.
You can create a "custom" setting in Picture Style where you can tweak colour tone, sharpness, saturation and contrast.
But why waste card space on shooting RAW+JPEG when you have to PP your shots anyway....

I don't post process "all" shots, so would like to have Jpegs good from the offset and PP some shots.. Thanks

Just go to User 1, choose portrait as your basis, then tweak the settings from there a bit to your own taste.

Although you can tweak a Picture Style, it's better to take for your basis a PS that's closer to your desired rendition.

Sure, but this thread is about the portrait style, so I wasn't making any assumptions that other styles would have been better.
