Seems since having a telescope Adelaide skies are filled with clouds. But only when I'm home

That's why telescopes are also called "cloud magnets". Nice shot. How are you going balancing the scope with camera?

2x 50d: with 17-85mm f4-5.6, 100mm Macro USM, 50mm f1.8, 2x Sigma 30mm f1.4, 55-250mm (kit lens), Canon 100-400mm L, Tamron 200-400mm f5.6, Samyang 8mm. 480mm refactor with HEQ5. Home made beamsplitter stereo rig.

Thanks Legoman
I could use another weight but so far it's doing ok with the weight I have.
Might swap from 60D to G1X
the weight is mostly an issue when I go vertical with the weight dragging on the focus. Easy enough to work around that by not aiming vertical. I figure if I stay with in 0 - 60deg I'm fine. Limiting but the sky moves :) Maybe a dual speed focuser later unless there's something else
