I bought a Oben 2361 tripod and a Sirui K-20X ballhead. I thought it would be sufficient for what it will hold, but after reading here on the forum, I wonder if I under bought. The heaviest equipment I can foresee using, which I use now, is a Canon 6D, grip, and 100-400L. Seems to be quite stable. Vibration settles very quickly, etc. What's the opinion.

Should be ok. The tripod is 3 sections, so no pencil thin 4th section to worry about. The ball sphere diameter on the head is 38mm which is big enough to lock pretty securely. I've never used that brand, so I can't comment on any potential sagging.

I don't know the legs, but I have used very similar gear with my Sirui K20X without any problems.

Bad decision. You will regret this for a long time.

Looks like a decent investment. They don't provide a hook under the center column for extra weight? You could probably install one yourself if you ever see the need.

Nice kit, enjoy!

The pictures on B&H show that it comes with a hook. ;)

Great, they are priceless. I bought a short center column for my Benro CF, and it stays on my 3 section tripod. If I switch columns, I unscrew the hook mechanism and put it on whichever center column I'm working with.

I'm probably going to buy a short column for my Induro soon. At 5'3" I don't really need the long column that came with the tripod unless I'm doing macros at extreme angles.
