I had a fantastic trip to Mt. Rainier National Park last night/this morning (thanks to Mike Reid for the motivation).

Here are my best 7 shots from the trip. I couldn't have asked for better weather!

Very nice shots! We've stood in very nearly the same spots, apparently :)

I find it funny when I see other peoples photos that I took in the same spot too!

Take pictures now of Edith Creek and Dead Horse Trail, while you still can. Pretty soon I'll have built my two cabins at those exact spots and retired there. It just won't be the same .

All joking aside, great photos and those are just gorgeous areas. I drool over Wonderland Trail photos. One of these days I'm actually going to get there and take some of my own.

Nice photo's. We vacationed at Mt Rainier the 3rd week of July for 4 nights. I have a similar pic at Reflection Lake. Truly a beautiful place. Did you drive to Paradise for the night shot or were you already staying at one of the lodges? We stayed in Ashford a few miles outside the southwest entrance. I thought of driving into the park at night but decided I didn't want to drive on the park roads in total darkness.

I drove into the park and towards Paradise at sunset and then parked my car at Paradise when it got dark. Shot the Milky Way shots for about an hour and then slept in my car in the parking lot. Then I woke up for sunrise and did the hiking around Paradise that morning.
