These and many other deer were relatively tolerant of nearby campers and other activity at a local state park. A buck finally wandered out of the woods, and practically posed for me - my first buck photo ever.

Great shots, later tonight I'll make up a thread of my own with some. Last night I was out testing my new 600ex-rt just to make sure it worked and I managed to come across a buck and his mate and they allowed me to get extremely close, it was an awesome experience. At one point the female was close enough to me to pet her (I didn't but that's how close she got) and the buck got as close as 10 feet to me and they both stood with me for 30-45 mins before slowly wondering off together.
