My new to me 1D3 seems to be stuck on the 9 image Index Display. I've done searches on the forum and I've read the manual but I can't find out how to return to the Single Image Display. In addition I can't enlarge any of the 9 images displayed on the screen. Any suggestions?

when you are viewing the nine images press the minus bottom for the zoom until you get back to one image.

That'll do it.

Neither the minus nor plus button have any effect on the display. Will a reset of the camera settings return it to the single image display?

It should. Review your last taken photo, and use the "zoom in" button to get back to a normal view of that one image. If those don't work, make sure your grip is turned off, and make sure your on switch isn't in the locked mode, but all the way turned on, past the on setting.
