i'd love this thing, sell my 5D, and use this forever and ever (untill Photokina)
40mm 1.2 L interesting...

I like the EYE CONTROL feautre... sounds interesting, if i got it right, where you look, is where it focuses? what i need in the camera -- is a setting to focus on background or foreground... (i am lame, i know)
I DONT think its photoshopped.. IMHO

That is either the real deal or the best Photoshop hack I've seen. :)

But it looks familiar.. was this hack circulating around Summer '05 as well? Or is this a new one?

3D has been the dream camera since the D30 and 1D were still on the shelves.. (of course the dream specs have changed every season to keep up with modern tech.. but the idea has been the same.)

If this thing were real,. a lot of 5D AND 1Ds owners may be really steamed ;)

The bottom grip is straight off a Nikon D2X.

The 40mm looks shopped to me. Slightly uneven and not following the curve exactly.

If you look at the larger picture and zoom in, the L on the 40mm is crooked and surrounded by a square of a different color from the lens.

It's a photoshop.

Look at the right had side around the grip, not quite right there, also there are some curved surfaces that mysteriously become flat, but then it still may be for real as it is a darn good job!

I looked at the D2X and it looks close but not that close.

[Edit: However, on closer examination, you just may be right. And I was so hoping it would be real, too.]

How the Canon crew can keep these new upgrades a secret is amazing to me.
