From a friend in Europe I am hearing of Nikon's recall for D810 due to bright spots/noise in long exposure images.
Did anyone hear of this in this side of ponds and is it really true??

They don't beta test enough, too anxious for market share. Jay

Just because the shooting conditions are normal for you, one person, doesn't make them normal for everyone. They've also made them right, even giving D610's to D600 owners who had the problem. Could you see Canon doing that? http://emjfotografi.com/

They came back to me several times still with the same issue. The amazing D3 came out about that time. Reason I've been shooting Nikon since. Nikon gave me a d610 to replace my d600 couple weeks ago. Nikon jumped right on the d810 issue within a couple weeks of release. They treated me right so far. Gear List? My gear is bigger than yours? Just shoot have fun...

Lots (and lots) of data will set you free!
