Does anyone have any first hand experience with the two bags? I've decided on the 40 but wonder if it'll be too small to fit the gear that I'm trying to fit.

-D810 w/24-120 attached
-35 1.8
-50 1.8
-85 1.8

I also would have a 105 that I would interchangably carry instead of the 85. I emailed TT about it and they have yet to respond.

All of the review that I can find online say that it fits a D800 (but not with L-plate) and some glass but it's just large enough, which I don't mind since it won't be a main, carry around for hours type bag. Reviews of the UD50 all stay that it'll comfortably fit more gear, but if I could do without the added size of the 50, even better since I don't travel around with a laptop and having a 15.4" laptop compartment is wasted.

If anyone has comparion pictures between the 40 and 50, even better.

Thanks!

I have the 50 and it's a great bag. It's actually not too big, would accommodate what you need and you would not feel like you over did it. I have used this bag a lot for pro shoots.

Susie, thanks for the insight. Think tank did get back to me and told me that the gear would fit in the UD40 and I'll give that a look first. I don't have a laptop at all so having an extra laptop compartment would do me no good. Hopefully this will suffice for the times that my Guru would be overkill.

You won't regret it. Those bags are really nice. What I like the most is the materials and the workmanship are really worth the money.
