Quantum model QF36X. But hard to find and, honestly, I don't see much benefit since you still need the flash body somewhere to drive the head. Basically it's an extension cord for the flash bulb.

I took a quick look and Adorama seems to have them in stock: http://www.adorama.com/qtqf36x.html (external link)

In the past there has been some problems with the pins from Quantum spacers etc. fitting into the Cheetah/Godox sockets.
How did you find the fit with the QF36x? If its not a problem it would be a nice solution for me in a product shooting setup.

Thanks.

Thanks - I need to try and justify a need for this :) Not sure it's necessary but very cool. It would get the weight down in overhead modifier.

Sorry, I haven't done this myself. It's someone else's video I stumbled across a while back.

Yes it my video and the pins are not the same as the 360 or the 180 and if you just plug the Quantum into the 360 or 180 it will not fire and could cause it to burn up.

Obviously this is something to stay away from unless you know all the inns and outs of the connections.

I wouldn't try it alt all because if you mess up you got a pile of crap. The quantum is a 2 wire setup and the 360 is a 3 wire setup

In the case of the bulb extender (spacer), it's just a simple straight through adapter so sanding down the adapter pins to fit the CL360 head shouldn't cause any problems. You just need to be sure that all of the pins make good contact. The bulbs seem to fit into the adapters without any mods.

I dont have to sand down mine at all they made for the 360 pin size and I use to sell them for 15.00 shipped. I don't sell them anymore since no one bought any.

OK, now I'm confused. What is this thing called 'Hair'?
'Rain' I can understand, the meaning of 'Hair' is lost in the mists of time.

Scott: What is 'Sun', please?

:-( I would have bought a couple. But at least there's an alternative.
