I spotted this bird over my backyard for the first time yesterday, and had the camera handy this morning when it re-appeared. (My BIF photos still need a lot of practice.) I'm thinking male Northern Harrier, but the tail feathers don't look like other photos I'm seeing. Can you help with the ID, please?
Thank you!!

definitely a red-tailed hawk. the harrier has a long tail and a white spot on the base of it's tail, upper side.
