(My BIF photos still need a lot of practice.) I'm thinking male Northern Harrier, but the tail feathers don't look like other photos I'm seeing. Can you help with the ID, please?  Essentially what photography is is life lit up.

definitely a red-tailed hawk. the harrier has a long tail and a white spot on the base of it's tail, upper side. _______________
