Not sure there is anything in there that would make me upgrade.

The AF, especially if f/8 in the center point, sounds enticing.

No mention of whether video uses line-skipping or not?

We have conflicting rumors on the sensor, 20mp and 24mp. Doesn't matter one way or the other as long as we get a new and better sensor.

The sensor will make or break this camera.

Everything else - 10fps, pro-level AF, etc. - is more-or-less expected of a modern action camera at this level.

Seems yo be leaning that way. That would be a tremendous disappointment for me.

I agree. I'm hoping that this is wrong and it isn't the 70D sensor in a different body. Fingers crossed.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

If I was to bet on anything with this camera, it would be that it will have a new sensor, not something from any other line.

That was my hope too - but the leaked specs don't seem to support that :(.

I hope the rumored "banding button" will make it onto the back of this body.

I agree. With all eyes on Sony and their sensor business, Canon needs to steal the spotlight. A tick-tock isn't going to work here. Canon needs to blow everyone out of the water.

They need to do what Intel did to AMD a few years back.

Maybe they can reverse engineer the new Fuji sensors coming out...

Canon's problem isn't what they can reverse engineer. Canon's problem is what they can design without being hindered by existing patents.
