What is the best bang for the buck YN Flash currently. I do not need it to have ettl, 99% of the time I will set it up and shoot. For the other 1% I already have a YN that has ettl.

I had a shoot outdoors this past weekend and realized it would be nice to have a bit more power.

A bit of money can be saved if OP doesn't need the integrated radio receiver by getting the version 2s.

That said, buy a few of the v3s along with a 560TX and you have a pretty powerful wireless speedlight set.

Actually if you aren't set on they YN flashes you may want to look at the Godox V850. I have one of these as well and the integrated Lithium battery lasts forever and recycle times are fast.

Thank you everyone for your input. Looks like the 560iii is the way to go, keeps me from having to buy another receiver as well.

Just a note about the built in receiver on the 560III. It only works with RF602 or RF603 triggers or the new 560TX transmitter. If you are using other radio triggers you will still need a receiver under the 560.

Heya,

560 III. Powerful. Manual. Built in wireless receiver. Less receivers needed. You can command a fleet of these flashes with a single transmitter. They now have a transmitter that lets you remotely change power levels of each flash too. All of inexpensive too. $70 per flash, $50ish for the big transmitter that changes power levels, otherwise, a $15 transceiver RF603II can command the whole fleet.

Very best,

I currently have a hand full of the RF603's, my next question was going to be if their new transmitter would also work and I see it will. Looks like a new transmitter and a few new flashes are in order.
