No, it is identical, looks wise to the one in the eBay advert.

Here is what I'm trying to say I can say I have a canon 1D x, but really I have a 1DmkIII. I did the xepert logo for Godox and I want you to show proof its the Xepert model and not the other.

Since your delaying it reads odd that you might have version 1 and saying its a version 2. A picture is worth a 1000 words and the proof I need before I contact godox and find out why this happening. It should have been fixed and I will no put up with lies from the company when I have XXXXXXX worth being ship as we speak.

Haha, I was wondering why you were so keen to see it! I'll get a photo done tomorrow or Monday morning once I'm back home and post it on here for you. No worries. :)

Are you a dealer or distributer for these then?

I only intended to ask whether anyone else had had the same problem with the E1 error and whether there was something that could be done to stop it happening in the future. I guess not! Didn't mean to upset you Scott!

Oh dear. :/ This could be a one off of course. Hopefully it is, and the company I bought it off is trying to sort it. I'll let you know what happens... I hope the quality control is better in the next batch of shipments though, if they all leave the factory like this then there'll be a lot of returns. :(

So this unit is the same as the Lencarta Safari 2

I expect that Lencarta for their premium add an extra layer of QC that Godox do not complete in the factory. I have also decided to take a 'gamble' on one of these units. I have made my supplier aware of this thread and asked them to test for 10 mins firing at full power before shipping. This will in turn save us both time and money with any paperwork, they have been very helpful and agreed to do so but only time will tell now..

Will report back once mine arrive and name the Vendor.

Jason-It seems the same as the Lencarta from what I can see, but yeah, maybe they do check them a bit more thoroughly before shipping. They must do, although the extra cost could be justified by the local warranty which is always a major selling point.

Update on what's happening; Godox are sending the eBay company that I bought it off a new set which they will forward to me tomorrow (takes about a week to reach me roughly). The eBay company have asked me to get a quote for returning the complete set which I have done. Trouble is, the company haven't expressly said that they will refund the cost of return shipment, just to get a quote, which is going to be a major obstacle, because 13kg packed weight to China from the UK costs about £130. A fair chunk of cash. Now I'm happy enough to return the item IF they will definitely refund the money, but there's no way of knowing until it gets to them if they will or not. I'm more than a bit reluctant to send it back if they don't.

In the words of many a crap soap opera, To Be Continued...
