Racetrack Playa Mystery Solved!

It looks like the mystery of the sliding rocks on the Racetrack Playa in Death Valley has finally been solved! There have been many theories over the last 70+ years, but now there is documented proof with GPS measurements and even a video of the rocks moving during a long scientific study.

Me too. Awesome. My wife asked if I was disappointing that the mystery had been solved - you know it's sometimes nice to not know and have that mystery, especially with a place like this which I always described as 'other worldly'.

But no, I'm really glad to know.

I'm with you Edward. I have a tinge of sadness knowing the mystery is gone...but like you. I'm glad to better understand the phenomena too.
