When using a wireless remote on a camera body (1D Mark lV) Should I be able to use the continuous shooting mode so that it fires rapidly more than two clicks?
Here's the remote I have: http://www.bhphotovideo.com …terBoss_Timer_Remote.html (external link)

I use Canon gear...have several bodies and lenses and am quite pleased with them.

I did not.

Will have to hunt that up.

Silly me...looking for a quick easy response.

so I did look on page 12...and it showed me how to shoot in continuous using the remote...which I already knew how to do.

Hence...my original question...should I not be able shoot the 8+ frames per second using a remote on the 1D4?

On page 12 in the 1st paragraph it states a limitation of 1 frame/second so you may be out of luck.

If you can return the product, as an alternative you might review the Satechi product line, although to be honest, I have one but have never tested it to see if it can deliver the full capability of my 60D. It does not have the range of the Vello however (which has peaked my interest).

The Satechi WRC-100 will allow the full capability with my 60D (about 5 frames/sec) so see if there is a model compatible with your camera.
