First baby shoot wiht backdrops

So i received picked up these backdrops and had a shoot with an 8month old this morning. I need to get some plywood for underneath and realized that having such a shallow DOF i loose the pink etc in back.. but first try..

I like the blurred background so don't lose that. Very nice!!! I wish you were close enough to help me; I have a lot of babies booked and waiting on one due any day now. Keep me updated; love to see what you did.

Wow, thanks for the vote of confidence!! Yeah im so happy they turned out, but i love lightroom also.. Have my first newborn session soon and have been mentally preparing my techniques so i think im ready :)

Thank you Gony! Yeah the ones outside for easier than studio in my living room however I like working with the backdrops just need to make some improvements. My support on the floor wasn't strong enough so I need to get some actual wood. Looking forward to my next shoot so appreciate the feedback thanks again!

I like that the shallow DOF allows you to see the implied background and colour, but doesn't take away from the child.
