Lightning struck twice today. This bird came out of the reeds and then went back in but stayed on the edges so I could track it and get shots of it on the edge. Then it came back out in to the open!! My first views and captures of this elusive bird.

Thank Al and congrats. They are considered uncommon here but are wherever reeds and sedges are. They are great at hiding. I would definitely agree that this bird did not seem skittish.
