So, my first attempt at the illustrious Milky Way has occurred but I just cannot seem to process it get it to look "great.." Here is my attempts but... I followed a number of online "how tos" but those didn't seem to do much better...

Any advice? More specifically, how to make it stand out a little more... I did shoot RAW... I have DPP, LR 4.4, PS CS 5.5... While I am not expert in any of these, I can certainly find my way around...

Thanks in advance!

(I can provide RAW files if you are interested in trying your hand at it, but I would prefer to know the settings rather than have it done for me...)

Basically what I do is selective curve adjustments to the MW. Pretty sure that video linked here is explaining that process
