OhLook insufferably pedantic. I can live with that. 24,924 posts Gallery: 105 photos Best ofs: 2 Likes: 16366 Joined Dec 2012 Location: California: SF Bay Area More info | Sep 08, 2014 12:02 | #77 Some of the photos this week raise the standard so high that I'm glad this isn't a judged competition. Levina, "Chocolate Milk" is amazing. I can't imagine how I'd even set up a scene like that and get the timing on target. PRONOUN ADVISORY: OhLook is a she. | Comments welcome

I can't imagine how I'd even set up a scene like that and get the timing on target. Thanks, OhLook. Timing it is hard indeed, and it took a few tries. The biggest problem I had was that I didn't have enough natural light left for a high enough shutter speed to freeze the splattering milk and have a nice, light background as well. So I had to compromise a bit but I think it still came out pretty well. Wild Birds of Europe

Living in a major tourist area I don't have go very far to find something interesting. My wife gets credit for this weeks adventure. She's a big time foodie, so I get to go with her to all sorts of interesting culinary venues.
