Im looking for a small bag just to carry my 5dmkiii with 35mm lens around for a city break. Would the Canon 100eg suffice?

I considered a bag, but couldn't really see the point/need. That solution was perfectly fine for the 1 mile walk to and from the station and for another 4 miles or so wandering around London. If it had rained then I would have acquired a plastic carrier bag to keep the rain off the gear.

This is a US eBay listing but he may have the same item listed on the UK eBay since the seller is from China. Entity = NTT = Natalie

I recently picked up a Billingham Hadley Large and am seriously considering buying the Hadley Small as well to carry around a 5D3 with 24-105 or 24-70 attached along with my 580 EX-II flash. The quality and looks on these Billingham bags are amazing! Body: 5D MKIII Gripped, 7D MKII

The quality and looks on these Billingham bags are amazing! I always like to carry my flash (just in case) so the Hadley Digital would be too small for my use, but sounds like a perfect fit for you. Yes they are EXPENSIVE, but so well worth it IMO! Good luck finding your bag. In the Hadley Digital, I typically carry the 5Diii with 24-105 (hood reversed) plus the 50 f/1.4. The 580 EX won't fit where the 50mm does. I have an AVEA 03 on it, but frankly haven't found that very usefull. Too small. But the AVEA 05 might be better, and could possibly hold the flash. I think I'll try one of those.
