Just super, Al and finally one I've seen before-the black and white. That perch looks familiar-are you baiting, Al?;) (Asked the guy w/ 7 feeders in his backyard.)

Awesome set! So are you feeding these guys? The series is just gorgeous!

Well done Al, I'm envious! I don't get tired of seeing all your Warblers. Wonderful images!

Nice set Allan.

Thank you everyone. No, I am not feeding them; as far as I know, warblers are mainly insect eaters. I have a strategically placed perch above our pond, which is also surrounded by trees and shrubs. So, the birds will often land on the perch while scoping out a spot to bathe. Its always the luck of the draw where they will land, but its a popular spot.

That Black and White deserves a thread to himself Al.....what a cutie!
I've heard of Nahsvilles around me, but the Tennessee is the closest I've come to one that looks like that. Yours is a great image that would easily allow me to see the differences in the 2 birds. The Chestnut is either a female or molted out of breeding plumage, but still quite nicely presented in your capture.

Yes, the B&Ws are quite something and quite acrobatic to boot; they remind one of nuthatches as they often have their tails up in the air, exploring the undersides of things. A lot of these warblers look very different in the fall compared to their breeding plumages. Not so much the B&Ws, but others. And I could show you a half-dozen different Tennessee shots and you'd swear they were different birds altogether. Thanks for commenting, Steve.
