4 GB and IBM, not Hitachi? ISTR Hitachi was the brand on most/all 4 GB MDs. Their warranty link is here (external link). This IBM page (external link) seems to suggest that even if it's IBM-branded Hitachi is the place to go.

Anyone got an idea how to get a 6GB seagate microdrive repaired! it was pulled out of ipod mini and therefore returning to seller is not an option, as ipod is ripped to shreds!??Seagate do not help with OEM products.

Thanks Jon, It is a IBM/Hitachi drive with the pcmcia adapter, but theres no serial number on it only FRU so it looks like I will have to ring them up Monday, I got it from ebay 6 months ago from what looked like a very good seller but he is deleting my emails, I may have to reply to my feedback for him if I dont get an email by tuesday.

Many thanks for the link

Bruce
