I have a "Blow-It" fan, designed for musicians, that attaches to cymbal or mic stands (light stands as well). I have never tried using it with a Vagabond Mini but I have used it several times with a 600 watt inverter powered by a 12 volt deep cycle marine battery. I have a remote switch (used in woodworking to remotely turn on the dust collection system) so that I can turn it off and on as needed. Fortunately (or unfortunately) I live in a very windy part of the country to where too much wind is the norm.
I looked at the Blow It website and they have The Super Model
for photographers. I don't know how similar it is to their other variations.
I'll still have to find an inverter and battery for this, I'm assuming. I'm not too familiar with these type of electronics, so I have to do some research and find one here in Tokyo. I like how it can clamp onto a light stand.

I use a battery power blower that came with my Makita set or a battery powered leaf blower.
Leaf blowers are a good idea. I think I'll need someone else to help me hold it, unfortunately. I'm still a one-man photography crew as of now.
Thanks for the link. With this, I will still need a portable battery source. Would the Vagabond Mini be compatible with something this strong?
