I like the image. She has a lovely smile that lights up her whole face and the image is quite sharp, especially the eyes. The bright reflections on her forhead are bothersome. Nice work though.

I agree with Titus213 about everything. I would suggest that the problem could be mitigated with more diffusion, bounce, or getting back further - any of which would reduce the hot spots and harshness of the flash.

The use of 2 lamps for portraits is recommended. Please see my article on Portrait Lighting.

I would also guess that a moderate, default sharpening has been applied. Would have been less noticeable skin texture if the sharpening were omitted.

no sharpenning applied. The make up we discussed it was too shiney. I used 3 lamps 2 brolley and a snoot against the wall.
