Is this a red tailed hawk?

Dear Board,

I'm 99% sure it is but I've never been this close to one.

Yes, both are RTH. You can see in the top image, part of it's red tail. Nice images Tim.

Another way to help ID a Red-tailed is dark head, light upper chest, dark lower chest.
