This is model Anna Snow. I had planned on shooting in an abandoned paper mill in Dayton, OH, to find it boarded up quite tight. There's not a lot of options in greater Cincinnati area but ended up using a couple of long-unused rail yard buildings in Northern Kentucky.

It was 90 outside, and probably 95-100 in the buildings we shot in - not to mention very humid - which made everything a task, but I like some of the results. I'm not a big flash fan, so though I lugged it all out, I didn't using anything but the camera/lenses. Combos of 5DII/Sig 50mm/1.4 and 40D with Tam 17-50/2.8VC.

Would love any critique/comments as I am a little unsure about them myself. I know I pushed big aperture and thus had a couple of missed focus shots that could have been great. Let me know what you think!

I can see them all now.. For some reason the shots where the feathers are cropped bother me!?! Love all the others though. The model has a great look!I think you could do with removing the bags from under her eyes though, if I'm being really nit-picky.. ;)

Thanks for the comments.. I see what you're saying about the cropping out of the ends of the feathers... a couple were candid and unposed so couldn't be helped, and I liked the shot - esp #4 for some reason.
I will see what I can do with the under eye space.. .

And no, she's quite nice and nice to work with ... was very professional and methodic with a lot of the setup, etc... was a great experience and shooting her again in Gary, IN...

Thanks again for the input...
