Great shots Ian, I was going to post ideas on clutter removal but Steve was ahead of me :)

Thanks both!

;) As stated, I liked the brush. It brought home the feeling of where he was hangin' out....... over there near the janitors closet ! It also gave the shot something different besides a limb or branch. A little dose of reality as to where these guys might turn up. My guess is he sort of liked the perch himself !

Excellent images none the less. Hope you have more quality time with him again soon !

Wonderful shots Ian.

We had a Sparrow Hawk land on the feeders the other day (no shots unfortunately), then he went up into a big tree and the odd feather drifted down. We guess he must have grabbed one the garden birds.

Thanks Lester. Yep, I'd guess a little bird met its maker that day. This guy tends to attack birds on the ground, then he jets off with them once he's rendered them lifeless. That usually leaves a pile of feathers too.

Oh, OK I thought he was ribbing me and saying it's a Cooper's Hawk.....I can easily confuse the Cooper's and the Sharpie.
