That is a very nice cluster there . GC are my favorite but tight clusters are great to see also . Nice edit too . Can you post a larger image of the cluster itself ?

The link takes you to the full res shot Celestron.
I need to start using eyepieces instead of the scope as prime. Hmmm

Your link shows the same size you posted here which is 1024 x . Is this original size or did you resize for posting ? If your original is like exam: 4800x then maybe you can crop the top half of just the cluster and post . That's what I mean by posting a larger image of the cluster .

Your scope is probably a 2" connection when you shoot prime ? If so there are a couple ways to increase your image size and still keep top quality images . On My Equipment (external link) page I show a few ways you can hook a camera up to an SCT and a couple ways of hooking up to a refractor . I use a Tele-Extender with a 12mm Plossi EP when doing the planets but when doing WF imaging I use a FR 6.3 and a T-Adapter depending what I'm shooting . Sometimes I use just the T-Adapter and this is on my 8" SCT . On my refractor i'll do PF or with a 2" Diagonal and a 2" camera adapter .

What I don't have but many others do is using a Teleview Powermate Barlow . For Planets they use the 5x and for WF shots the 2x or 2.5x or even the 3x will work but depending your scope size determines your needs . Just remember the size your producing in WF shots are really good for imaging cause some DSO are really BIG ! . Also too depends your pocket book , what your needs are and how much you want to invest . But good luck and I do look forward to seeing more of your images !

Flickr has an icon with an arrow which allows you to view fullsize. They are becoming a PITA with changes. Don't make it easier
I have a T-adapter.
Until I can nail alignment shooting through an eyepiece would be pointless until i can get consistent track times. Managed 60 sec tonight
