Seems like a good deal here for used gear. What do you think?

It's in my town, and perhaps I could talk down the price a bit.

I'm not interested in the camera, but I'm interested in the Speedlight, Lightsphere, and the nifty fifty. Maybe the filter too (but I have no idea what the microphone is).

800 bucks doesn't seem horrible. I'd sell the 7D right off. Not sure what I could get for it, however.

Anybody have an opinion on it?

Thanks

My only thought is that if it's the "real deal" it's been on CL for too long! Maybe he didn't pull the ad?

Please elaborate? Are you suggesting that it's a good deal but too good to be true?

Based on the 7D prices I see on the For Sell forum, that's a good deal. Contact the person to setup a public meet. If it were me selling all that, there would be no negotiation, but they may be desperate - who knows.

Thanks for the heads up, just set up a meet to pick up this kit.

JK, as long as it's not a scam attempt, this is a good deal.

It's a good deal but not over the top. That would normally lead me to believe it's real but possibly not available anymore.

It's definitely a good deal, just don't overlook checking the shutter count. It takes a lot of wear for the 7D marking to start rubbing off. If the count is high use it to negotiate him down.

He didn't email back to me, so it's probably gone. Or a scam. Either way, I don't really care. I only really wanted a couple of the pieces. Not interested in most of it.

UPDATE: It seems that the person doesn't check his spam folder, which is why my emails didn't get through.

I think the deal is legit. Looks interesting.

He's interested in showing me the gear.
