5D3: Is AF configuration active in 61pt auto selection?

In the 5D3 in AI Servo AF mode, I would like to confirm if the AF configuration tool (tracking sensitivity, accel/decel tracking, AF point auto switching) is working in the 61-point AF area auto selection? This is not clearly stated in the manual and AF guide. Thanks.

Those configuration settings are for AI Servo, and should work with auto. I think this series is a pretty good overview of the AF system:

The only limitation that's AF point selection mode dependent is the AF auto point switching setting. As one could guess, that setting isn't effective in the two modes where you deploy a single AF point only, as it has nothing to switch to.
